Indutherm: first class casting technology
At T.Gold, the German company Indutherm, leader in the production of casting systems, will be presenting two new, compact, table-top casting machines from its successful MC series.
Mc 16, the new base model, is an advanced induction heating casting machine, developed for small jets and small series. With a maximum temperature of 2,000°, MC 16 is suitable for all standard alloys, such as gold, silver, steel, palladium and platinum alloys.
This proposal is flanked by the MC 60 V, a machine purpose-built for gold and silver casting: with a temperature range that reaches 1,300° and a flask size of up to 80 x 120 mm, the MC 60 V has a greater capacity and is equipped with the Indutherm vibration system for more efficient mould filling, especially in the case of filigree.
The operating principle of both machines is simple: the entire casting unit rotates by 90 degrees for pouring, control of all the functions, from temperature to vacuum and pressure, is simplified by an LCD display that shows all the programme data. In this way, using one of the MC machines is versatile and simple, even for operators with little experience.
As proof of this, for many customers, the machines in the rapid-casting and compact MC series have become an essential tool for ensuring a better workflow, especially for those who work with CAD and 3D printing.
